Nature of the Website

This is a private reference service with no government authority. It stores no official Washington County or Illinois custody record and cannot confirm a current status, release a person, post bond, or file an agency or court document.

The pages point readers toward government release records, jail and corrections resources, and outside research tools. Any official determination must come from the Washington County Sheriff, Illinois Department of Corrections, court, or other record owner.

Acceptable Use Rules

• Use the site only in a manner permitted by law.
• Do not use information to stalk, harass, threaten, or harm another person.
• Do not rely on site content for hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions.
• Do not attempt to enter accounts, servers, or systems without authorization.
• Do not deploy bots, scrapers, or automated collection tools.
• Do not overload, damage, or interfere with access for other visitors.

No Consumer Reports

Washington County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not provide a background check, credit report, or consumer report. Its advertising and search partners are not presented as screening services. A visitor agrees not to use site or linked-tool information for an FCRA-covered decision.

Third-Party Destinations

Links may lead to sheriff and corrections sites, release records, government portals, legal-aid resources, or independent search providers. A link is not an endorsement. Washington County Released Inmates does not control an outside site’s content, privacy practices, data, terms, security, or availability. Visitors should review the destination’s rules before using it.

Service Without Warranties

The site and its content are supplied “as is” and “as available.” No express or implied warranty is made concerning:

• The accuracy, completeness, or current state of information
• Continuous or uninterrupted availability
• Freedom from errors, defects, malicious code, or security weaknesses
• The scope, accuracy, or completeness of a partner’s search results

Custody status, court records, phone numbers, and agency practices can change. Nothing published here is an official statement from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office or another government agency.

Liability Is Limited

To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, Washington County Released Inmates and its owners, contributors, and service providers are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive loss arising from access to, inability to use, or reliance on the site or a linked service.

Your Duty to Indemnify

A user agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the site, its owners, contributors, and service providers from claims, losses, obligations, damages, and reasonable legal fees resulting from that user’s conduct, use of the site, or violation of these terms.

Ownership of Site Materials

Site text, original graphics, logos, arrangement, and code belong to Washington County Released Inmates or the relevant content partner. They may not be copied, republished, distributed, adapted, or commercially exploited without prior written permission, except where law permits.

Revisions to These Terms

These conditions may be changed at any time. A revision becomes effective when the new terms are posted. Continued use after posting means the visitor accepts the revised conditions.

Suspension or Loss of Access

Access may be restricted, suspended, or ended at any time, with or without notice, for a violation of these terms or for another lawful reason.

Illinois Law Controls

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in Illinois. Nothing in these terms changes rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

Terms Remain Severable

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in force. The affected provision will be narrowed or adjusted only to the extent needed to make it enforceable.
